I chose the quote "The truth is rarely pure and never simple", my interpretation of this quote is that people rarely tells the truth, one may tell some of the truth but almost never tell the whole truth. I don't know why it is like it is but it may be that in certain situations telling the whole truth would just make things worse than they already are and not help at all. Telling just some of the truth is normaly just to help, but it may be that doing so makes us tell small "white lies" more often than needed.
