We were asked to describe what two songs and a poem was all about, they'r all about friendship/not friendship and figure out what the main difference between them are.

I am a Rock: This song is all about a guy that chooses not to have any friends or any form of relationship because he don't want to get his feelings broken if this friendship doesn´t work out.

You'll Never Walk Alone: This song is quiet the opposite of the previous one, here you're being told that you'll always have someone watching your back and helping you out, in other words and as the name of the text says, You'll Never Walk Alone.

No Man is an Island: This poem is written in a different style, it's more complex and "complicated". This is probably as far from the first song as you can get since it wants to tell you that, whoever you are you're always a part of something bigger. I'll write the first sentence form the text which I think realy describes what the poem tries to tell: No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.
